Abiodun ADESANYA FNAPE
-
(Managing Consultant)
Abiodun has been in the Oil & Gas Industry since 1983 during
which he acquired experience in Agip Energy (National
Service) and later as a Seismologist with United Geophysical
where he rose to Party Chief overseeing 2D/3D Seismic
acquisition & processing. He later moved to Elf Petroleum in
1990 where he initially supervised seismic operations before
moving to Asset Management team as Senior Geoscientist
responsible for 2D/3D evaluation and portfolio management.
He later joined Landmark Graphics (Halliburton) in 1997
where he worked for four years. His duty includes management and provision of
technical consulting, sales marketing and training to Local, National and
International Independents and Multinational companies
within the Sub-Sahara Africa region. In 2000, he resigned from Landmark to manage Degeconek.
In his career, he worked on some overseas assignments
which took him to Yemen, Paris, Houston, Denver & London.
Abiodun is a Fellow of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE).

John IKHANOBA –
(Associate Petroleum Economist)
John has a
B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry from University of Benin in
1980 and M.BA (1984) from University of Lagos. Between 1984
and 1994, he worked with Christlieb Plc. and Citizens Bank
and joined Shell in 1994. John worked both in Nigeria (Port
Harcourt, Lagos & Warri) and overseas assignments (The Hague
and Oman) as Petroleum Economist. He left Shell in 2005 to
run a Consulting firm and doubles as an Associate Petroleum
Economist to Degeconek.
Mr. Ikhanoba is a Fellow of ICAN and has written and
presented many papers. He is married with children.
Ajayi
GBUYIRO -
(Senior Logging Engineer/ Head of Digitization Services)
Ajayi
has a B.Sc degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from
University of Ibadan in 2000. He did his national youth
service program with Gezhil Limited in Lagos where he
started his career as Systems Engineer. He later joined
Degeconek in 2003 as Systems Administrator. He is a training
instructor and support manager for NeuraLog applications. He
is well experienced in Scanning and Vectorization of Well
Logs, Maps and Seismic Sections.
Ajayi is also the Senior Logging Engineer.
Adeola Adebari – -
(Snr. Petroleum Engineer/Business Development Manager)
Adeola has a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2001 and an M.Sc in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University. He has been actively working in the Oil and Gas Industry since 2003. His last place of work was with Dubai Petroleum as a Petroleum Engineer before joining Degeconek in 2010 as Business Development Manager for the Integrated Production and Reservoir Evaluation Logging Division. His experience covers production optimization, well performance analysis and reservoir management and monitoring.

Olanrewaju Aboaba –
(Team Lead, Seismic Interpretation)
Olanrewaju received his B.Tech. in Applied Geophysics from the Federal University of Technology Akure in 2004. He joined Degeconek in 2005 and his experience covers use of interactive workstations to interpret geophysical and geological data in the exploration, development and production phases for oil and gas fields; technical evaluation & advisory, ranking of undiscovered/ discovered hydrocarbon potentials and planning of optimal well trajectories.
His experience covers oil and gas assets both within Nigeria and in some West African countries.

Kunle Segun –
(Senior Survey/Navigation Consultant)
Kunle has a degree in Survey Engineering from University of Lagos. He did his national service with PHCN. He worked with construction companies such as RCC, PW and Trevi Foundation between 1997 and 2004. Since 2004 he has been working with Degeconek
where he heads the survey department.
